Tad was born and raised on the mean streets of Decorah in northeast Iowa. Growing up an avid follower of traditionally American sports, Tad discovered a deep love of soccer (and Roma!) after moving to Rome after college. During his eight years in the Italian capital, where he owned and operated a walking tour company, Tad counts among his greatest memories watching Italy win the 2006 World Cup, Francesco Totti win the Golden Boot, searching the streets of the city for his future best friend Daniele De Rossi, and attending Stadio Olimpico for Roma games with his crew. Today his lives in Arlington, VA with his fiance and Pepper the Podcasting Pug, where he is a partner at Sumner Furniture. He manages his deep regret for leaving Italy by being a part of the CurvAmerica podcast and watching Roma games every week with Roma Club Washington, D.C. Chris grew up in the GREAT state of New Jersey - and lived to tell about it! He has Irish-Italian roots like the majority of everybody else from there. As a Bruce Springsteen fan, Chris agrees with his fellow New Jerseyan that the "town rips the bones from your back...It's a death trap, it's a suicide rap." But, it's home and Chris will defend the Garden State with his dying breath - stay Jersey Strong America. He lived in Italy for a year and still thinks Italian culture, language, and Serie A soccer are some of the best things in the world. Chris is an avid Roma fan but loves a good underdog story. Marco is a DC native and a life long AS Roma and Serie A fan. He is the son of Italian immigrants who came from Rome to the US over 30 years ago. Before coming to the states, his father, Massimo, would travel across Italy supporting the "Giallorossi" as they battled Serie opponents in search of their 2nd Serie A title. This passion transferred directly to Marco and his brother, Alessandro, who have always made it a personal goal to convert their closest friends into Roma and Serie A fans. Marco, his brother, and their closest friends eventually co-founded Roma Club Washington, D.C., the official DC metro area AS Roma supporters club, in 2014. An environmental engineer, musician, and former collegiate soccer player, Marco is CurvAmerica's token 1st generation Italian and chief "pronunciator" for the pod.
